Chameleonic Antipodean cult heroes Liars retreated to a remote part of the harsh Australian bush to record their latest album TFCF (short for Theme from Crying Fountain apparently), and it provides a similar step out of the comfort zone for the listener. Not that this should come as any surprise to those familiar with their previous work. Never content to stand still, ‘Cred Woes’, the first track to be shared from the album see Angus Andrew’s lackadaisical vocal ride on the crest of a harsh synth wave, battered with crunching beats.
